Potty Training Bag Essentials (for home)

Potty training is a daunting task. While in the midst of our journey these are some of the things we learned were essential!

A Bag to Store Everything

Mickey just seemed to be the right guy to hold all of our things. 😄

An Ample Anount of Books

For the all the time you spend sitting on the bathroom floor; and that will be a lot!

A Security Blanket + Calming Bottle

These helped when we were having a hard time going, if you know what I mean. 🙈 – We made the calming bottle with just water, food coloring, and confetti.

A Treat Jar (a must‼️)

Obviously it’s a big deal when they go in the potty… What better way to celebrate than with chocolate?

Antibacterial Hand Wipes (a must‼️)

For some reason washing our hands afterwards was more of a chore than anything. So, these were definitely a must and she actually enjoyed using them (I think because she could do it quickly and by herself).

This potty explains Aubrey, sassy! Anyway, there’s the bag and everything we have in it! Good luck 🙌🏼

Happy Wednesday!

DIY Dryer Sheets

The next perfect economic essential to add to your laundry room. DIY dryers sheets; safe, effective, and cost conscious.

Ingredients:

• jar with an air tight lid

• scrap fabric – I ended up without about 15 pieces, you can even use an old t shirt

• 1/4 cup of vinegar

• 1/4 cup of water

• 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in  jar. Next, place fabric scraps in and wait for them to absorb all liquid. That’s it! They are ready to use!

And spray paint!

This was an easy DIY that could practically be done with any piece of wood furniture. Keep it crafty ladies, happy Wednesday!

Verse of the Week 11•15•15

image

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. Sometimes people say, “Here is something new!” But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-11

At first glance, this verse is a little dull and hopeless but at second glance this verse gives us tremendous insight to everything that is going on around us. Don’t forget that whatever it is you’re going through as a person, as a family, as a country; it’s all been done before and God will show you a way to the next season gracefully and purposefully. Happy Sunday ❤️
