Verse of the Week 11•15•15

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. Sometimes people say, “Here is something new!” But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-11

At first glance, this verse is a little dull and hopeless but at second glance this verse gives us tremendous insight to everything that is going on around us. Don’t forget that whatever it is you’re going through as a person, as a family, as a country; it’s all been done before and God will show you a way to the next season gracefully and purposefully. Happy Sunday ❤️

Matthew 13:16-17

“But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”

These are the words Jesus spoke when explaining the parable of the farmer scattering seeds. It is a blessing for us to be able to read Gods word, understand, and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Verse of the Week 03•01•15

Proverbs 22:6

Train a child up in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

{Solomon, son of King David and Bathsheba, wrote the book of Proverbs. The definition of proverb literally means, ‘stating a general truth or piece of advice.’ Which is exactly what the book of Proverbs consists of. The purpose of his writing was essentially for others to gain wisdom and understanding; to learn to do what is right and just.}

Come on mommas! We are the ones responsible paving the way for our children’s future. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life!” {John 14:6} That verse is so powerful to me. He is the way indeed! Have a great week ladies and remember Jesus is the reason for every season!
