DIY Adirondack Transformation

DIY Adirondack Transformation

It’s amazing what a little cleaning up and paint can do! I actually found these gems sitting on the side of the road waiting for some love.
All it took was a little pressure washing to get the old paint off…
 Some primer…
And spray paint!

This was an easy DIY that could practically be done with any piece of wood furniture. Keep it crafty ladies, happy Wednesday!

DIY Monogram

When we found out with our first pregnancy we were going to have a girl, obviously a plethora of monograms were in order. However, I wasn’t even about to spend some insane amount to have one done for me; so I came up with this little DIY for today. The concept is super simple but it is a little time consuming.

Supplies Needed:
• flat piece of cardboard
• ribbon – color of your choice
• hot glue
• pencil
• scissors

image

How-To: Trace your monogram onto cardboard and cut out. Wrap your ribbon very tightly around the cardboard. Hot glue it every now and then to secure it. That’s it, very simple! To hang it up, I took some extra scrap ribbon I had to make loops and just hot glued them to the back.

Be sure to send me your finished products! This was the last of our DIY month so stay tuned in for next week to see what’s going on! Happy Wednesday folks!

DIY Shabby Calendar

Everyone needs a good looking calendar hanging on their wall and sometimes those things are just too darn expensive! Today is a super easy DIY and actually a DIY of a previous DIY 😂 (link below).

Supplies Needed:
• twine
• washi tape of your choice
• scissors
• large picture frame
• large chalkboard sticker (I found mine at dollar general 😁)
• t shirt, color of your choice
• hot glue

Directions: First step, hot glue your shirt around the cardboard backing in your picture frame. You can reference to our pervious post if you need help. Next, apply your chalkboard sticker to the outside of the plastic in your frame. Lastly, put everything together. Now to make your bunting, glue twine to each top corner. Cut about 2 inch long strips of washi tape and fold over twine; cut into a sharp point at the bottom. & voilá, perfecto!

You can play around this in all sorts of variations, spray paint the frame to make it even more fabulous!

Also, if you don’t follow on Instagram, we used this as our pregnancy announcement board as well! 👶🏼
